DESCRIPTION:This Land: The Launch Pad Workshops with Selena Chandler\, Lora Aziz\, Katie Kennedy\, Zoe Martin\nThroughout the day we will be hosting a series of free drop-in workshops for ages 7+.\n\nLearn how to make traditional ink out of ink gall gathered from 25 destinations across Essex under the guidance of artist\, basket weaver and researcher Selena Chandler.\n\nExplore the art of calligraphy and help us create a 25th Edition ‘E’ for Essex with British Egyptian artist/calligrapher Lora Aziz.\n\nTry your hand at a range of traditional printing and basic book-making techniques with artists Katie Kennedy and Zoe Martin.\n\nHelp us craft a People’s Festival Charter fit for the next 25 years with a little help from the Special Collections and Archive team at the University of Essex.\n\n \n\nPart of our This Land: Launch Day events on Saturday 1st June at University of Essex.
