The Golden Age of Crime produced an amazing number of new writers, good and not so good – writers who have endured from that period are mostly women. Our expert panel, with representatives from the Detection Club, Dorothy L Sayers Society and the Margery Allingham Society, share their favourites and celebrate their success.
This event is part of Essex Book Festival’s Golden Age of Crime Weekend, taking place at the Park Inn Palace Hotel in Southend-on-Sea on 16 & 17 March.
Park Inn Palace currently has no hearing loop systems installed. Essex Book Festival has a mobile Roger Pen hearing loop system, which needs to be booked by individuals in advance at least three days before the event. If you would like to use the Roger Pen email claire@essexbookfestival.org.uk
