Catherine Emmett

She packed up her husband and her three young boys, escaped to rural Essex where she started to write picture books and middle grade stories. She now spends her days surrounded by words, animals and her noisy young boys. Catherine will also be hosting a children’s writing workshop, Once Upon a Story… during our Criminally Good Day

Sam Scott

Sam will be reading from her book Sophie Spirit and the Batting Manor Mystery, a ghost story about a 12 year old deaf girl, who gets drawn into a devilish plot at her local manor house. This is the first in a trilogy of books featuring Sophie Spirit.
