DESCRIPTION:Dr Janet Dyson\, Artists of Great Bardfield\nDr Janet Dyson will provide an introduction to the group of artists who gathered in the Essex village of Great Bardfield from the 1930s onwards.\n\nJanet is a local historian and her book looks at the social history aspect of the ‘Bardfield Artists’\, drawing on the voices and memories of Great Bardfield residents in recalling life in the village before and after the arrival of two young artists in the 1930s.
